About
About This Site
Walnut Creek Pool Builders is an independent planning resource for people building a new pool in and around Walnut Creek. It explains what pools cost here, how the construction methods differ, and which permit, setback, engineering and safety rules apply, with links to the agencies and sources behind each fact.
How the site works
When you call or send the form, your request goes to an independent, licensed pool contractor serving your area, who can talk through the project and quote it. Walnut Creek Pool Builders is an independent website that connects homeowners with local pool contractors. We are not a contractor; contractors may pay us for project requests. Verify any license at cslb.ca.gov.
What we don't do
- We don't design, engineer, permit or build pools.
- We don't publish reviews, ratings or project galleries, and the photographs on this site illustrate pool types and construction stages rather than any particular builder's projects.
- We don't give legal or engineering advice; permit and safety summaries link to the source so you can read the rule yourself.
Sources and corrections
Costs come from Angi's San Francisco data and Golden Yards' editorial planning ranges, labeled wherever they appear. Rules come from Contra Costa County, the Town of Danville, the cities of Walnut Creek and Lafayette, the CSLB and the California Health & Safety Code. If something has changed, call (925) 492-7114 and we'll check and correct it.
